Akinseye Akinola is an Analyst at Emerging Capital Partners (ECP) based in Lagos, Nigeria. With seven funds and over $1.8 billion under management, ECP is a leading private equity manager focused exclusively on Africa. Headquartered in Washington DC, ECP has six offices across Africa and a ten-year track record of successful investment in companies operating in over 40 countries on the continent. Prior to joining ECP in 2008, Mr. Akinola worked at UBS Investment Bank within the Financial Institutions Group where he worked on a range of corporate finance transactions on behalf of asset management, insurance and specialty finance clients. Mr. Akinola has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Howard University in Washington, DC and is a citizen of Nigeria.
