ECP wins two awards at Private Equity Africa GP & Advisor Awards 2015

Emerging Capital Markets (ECP), the pan-African private equity firm, is honored to announce that it has been awarded the Landmark Deal of the Year for the recent milestone fundraising by its portfolio company IHS Holding Limited (IHS). IHS was also awarded the Portfolio Company of the Year under the development impact category.

The awards, presented at the fourth annual Private Equity Africa’s GP & Advisor Awards ceremony in London on the 29th of April 2015, recognize the leading role ECP played in capital raising for IHS as well as the firm’s commitment to supporting the growth and development of the largest telecommunication tower infrastructure provider in Africa which is helping to bring cheaper, higher quality telecommunications and internet services to Africa.
